SmartNight HID
CMS Capable stand alone dimming ballasts for HID lamps

45/50/60/70/90/100/140/150W The SmartNight ballast is a stand alone HID ballast designed for street and road lighting applications which only have one switched supply available to the lantern, switching to centralised around midnight. The ballast will switch on at full power and dim to 75% or 50% light output at a pre-determind time. Smartnight ballasts are WiMAC compatible so it’s easy to install LeafNut, at any time, and make further carbon reductions and energy savings.

SwitchedDim HPIDD
CMS dimming ballasts for HID lamps

The SwitchedDim range of ballasts are a stand alone HID ballast designed for street, road lighting and indoor applications. It is used in conjunction with an external switching device such as a time clock switch, motion sensor or switched wire. Switched Supply Operation – The ballast switches on at full power and dims to a predetermined level when the switched supply is absent. The ballast will then quickly return to full 100% output when switched supply is present. Reduced Energy Consumption – A standard SwitchedDim ballast saves 30% of power when dimmed. Presence Detection – The lamp will quickly return to 100% when motion is detected.

Can also be programmed with a fixed or variable resistor. Ability to dim to 5% of maximum output current Fan Output – Optional auxiliary 5V/12V 1W output suitable for powering fans e.g. Nuventix Synjet. Fan output is turned off when dimmed below 25% of maximum output to save energy. Hot Plug – Also benefits from output Hot Plug protection To maintain SELV isolation of the driver output, the 1-10V dimming control should have reinforced or double insulation from the mains supply.

EMERGENCY LED drivers
CoolLED constant current drivers provide a high performance solution for powering high-brightness LEDs from a mains supply

(Maintained and Non-Maintained) The ELD family of emergency, Maintained and Non-Maintained LED drivers from Harvard Engineering offer a simple, cost effective solution for locations requiring reliable, low power lighting in the event of a mains failure. A single compact unit incorporates intelligent control of both battery charging and constant current drive to the LED. A separate output is available to power a small indicator LED giving the status of battery charge. High efficiency operation permits use of a small, 2/3-cell battery while still providing 3 hours emergency operation. Additionally, the -M version of the product features a switched-live input to enable use of the LED for general illumination in addition to emergency operation.

Emergency LED Modules

Two Types of modules are available. Panel mount version Ceiling mount version featuring spring loaded fixing allowing for fast installation. Both types come with flying leads ready for wiring into our range of Emergency drivers, which feature push fit connecters, a tool free solution. Supporting a drive current of up to 500mA Panel mount module will emit approximately 115 lumens. While the Ceiling mount module will emit approximately 100 lumens.
